You know what I miss about most music released today? It's a lack of experimentation. A lack of 'risk' in making music.
Sure, there are many artists that have made their career on risk taking and I commend them. The majority however, don't anymore. Well, I'd like to get back to more of that with my own music. One of many tools to do that is a synthesizer.
I'll be honest here, I don't know a lot about synthesizers, hardly anything other than they are responsible for some of modern music's best sounds and songs in the last 50 years. I finally got one to try out my own 80's inspiration, and in this video, I unbox IK Multimedia's UNO Synth and have a first look.
