One of the best, well known Midi Keyboard controllers around is the Akai MPK Mini. It's a relatively cheap midi controller with many functions and its own software editor for you to change the programming within to get it working with all sorts of midi softwares, like GarageBand on iOS!
This video shows you how to get it programmed so you can trigger the drum kits within GarageBand on iOS to quickly lay down drums using the Akai MPK Mini pads.
